We are proud to announce that we have now completed our move in to our state of the art manufacturing and office centre. The newly built and customised 9000 sq. ft. facility is a major step in our continuous improvement plan and will put us in a perfect position to offer the additional services required by our growing range of clients.

The features include:-

• Dedicated production area with custom anti-static flooring, specialist designed lighting and compressed air. Each assembly section is prepared with network connectivity for the future roll out of internal traceability using bar-code technology and online tracking. To complement our other new equipment we have also added another Blundell CMS400 flow soldering machine.
• A fully extracted machine room and spray room enables us to offer more mechanical assembly options and a much larger capacity for conformal coating.
• Enclosed stores area with dedicated areas for customers’ free issued components, generic stock and specific project stock. All of which is now included on our custom produced stock control software.
• A 250 sq. ft test area which can be arranged to suit each individual project with full soak test capability and environmental testing.
• Comfortable offices and conference room with full AV provision.
• Modern canteen and break-out areas for staff and visitors.
• Professional and comfortable reception areas.
• To protect our staff, clients stock and our investment, the building is equipped with the latest intruder alarm, fire alarm and additional security systems.

Together these features have matched our vision of creating an efficient, comfortable and professional environment for our staff and clients alike.

All production staff have now completed an NVQ Level 2 course in Manufacturing Solutions and all achieved a pass mark of 95% and above.

We have also commenced training to IPC610 Class 3 with several staff achieving a mark of 100%.

We are committed to having at least half of the production staff and all of the inspection staff IPC610 Class 3 qualified by the end of the year. A number of staff have also completed the IPC7711 rework and modification course.

We are pleased to announce that our new equipment has been installed and commissioned and is already making a major impact on our productivity and efficiency. The triple head iPulse M4 has increased our through put by an additional 12,500cph, easily handling 0201 to 54mm sq. OFP, BGA and CSP components.

This extra capacity has been complimented and supported by a Blundell CMS400LF flow solder machine, a Quantum 604 reflow oven and an Essemtec automated screen printer.
